Competition Categories
IIIR offers multiple competition formats to suit a variety of project types and experience levels:
Research Paper Challenge

Submit original manuscripts (3,000–5,000 words) demonstrating rigorous methodology, clear results, and compelling discussion. Top papers will be published in IIIR’s peer-reviewed journal.

Project & Prototype Showcase

Ideal for hardware or software projects, prototypes, and proof-of-concept demos. Provide a detailed project report, prototype images or videos, and data evidence of performance.

Case Study Competition

Analyze a real-world problem—such as a public policy issue or an organizational challenge—and propose data-driven solutions, backed by research and stakeholder interviews.

Pitch & Innovation Contest

Deliver a concise, persuasive pitch (3–5 minutes) of a research idea, startup concept, or social enterprise. Judges evaluate based on novelty, feasibility, and potential impact.

Student Research Grant Awards

Undergraduate and graduate students can apply for seed grants to initiate small-scale research projects. Grant recipients receive mentorship and funding to carry their ideas forward.
